OUR PURPOSE:

Preschool & Kids Praise Choir is a ministry opportunity open to children who desire to praise & worship our Lord.  Our desire is to create an environment where children can learn about God and music.  We realize that there are many adults today who are unable to sing or play music because they never had or took the opportunity to learn as children.  Nor did they learn the importance of worshipping God through music.  Therefore, we are committed to build in your child the confidence to sing praise to God for a lifetime.

During our choir year your child will learn concepts about God, music, praise Christian heritage, teamwork and performing to and for God. We will develop each of these areas according to the child’s age and understanding.  The musical teaching methods used are consistent with the best and newest methods used today in childhood education.

Furthermore, your child will learn that God loves them and so do we.  Our teachers desire to help your child feel important to God, others and self.

REHEARSAL TIME:

Kids Praise and Preschool Choirs rehearse each Sunday, from 4:00 -5:30 pm in room 110 A&B.  You may drop off your child no earlier than 3:45 and promptly pick them up at 5:30.

Youth Choir rehearseals will be weekly from 4:00 - 5:15 pm in Room 111.

AGE GROUPS:

Preschool Praise:        Children ages 4 – Kindergarten

Kids Praise:                 Grades 1 - 5

Youth Choir:                Middle School

CALENDAR YEAR:

Our Calendar year runs from September through April, with a break during the month of December.  We have a handbook with the specific rehearsal days/times available.
