Boys and girls from the Omaha area gather 1 night a week at Westside Church for basketball and cheerleading practice and then come back Saturday mornings for gametime! The season runs January thru March and we do our best to work out practice days with your family needs. Any child, regardless of where they go to church, in Kindergarten thru 6th grade is welcome to play regardless of their skill or experience level.
The 2012 Basketball and Cheerleading season is just around the corner! Registrations are in, evaluations have been completed and teams are being drafted!
Your coach will call you with practice, team and gameday information.
2012 Upward Basketball and Cheerleading Schedule
Practices start: Monday, January 9th. Coaches will be calling you between January 4th and 7th to let you know the details of your first practice. You will recieve all other information and items at your first practice.
Games start: Saturday, January 21st
Open Gym Wednesdays start: Wednesday, January 18th from 5-645pm*
Shooting Camp: Wednesday, February 8th from 5-7pm featuring former Husker and current FCA Director Brian Conklin**
*Parental interaction highly recommended but parental superivision is required. Westside Church will not provide supervision. Parents- come shoot hoops with your kids!
