Faith Community Nursing (FCN) is a specialty recognized by the American Nurses Association.
Our Faith Community Nurse, Marge McNulty, is a spiritually mature registered nurse who volunteers her time in serving the Westside Church Community. She educates, advocates and motivates individuals to take positive action regarding wellness, prevention of illness, and appropriate care for on-going conditions.
Rather than practicing from a medical model, her unique expertise provides for:
- Integration of faith and health
- Health promotion and education
- Health counseling
- Referrals
Specific activities of our FCN include:
- Blood Pressure Screening
- Hospitalization Follow Up
- Individual support for those with cancer and other chronic health conditions
