The Family Ministry Experience (FMX) in Guatemala will undeniably change the lives and destinies of 3 beautiful Guatemalan families as we build them houses. More than that the FMX will help hundreds of kids in a Guatemalan orphanage feel loved and cared for. But above all else FMX will bring your family closer together and closer to God in a way you could never imagine.
What is FMX?
FMX stands for Family Ministry Experience and it is just that. At VBX we will be raising $10,000 to build houses for 3 Guatemalan families and do some projects at an orphanage. FMX will then take families from Westside Church down to Guatemala to do the actual projects that we raised money for at VBX.
When is FMX?
The dates are the week of Millard Public School’s fall break: October 8-15, 2011.
What do you mean by Family?
The trip is designed for people of all ages to be able to attend. There is no specific “age minimum” for this trip but we are going to strive for 1:1 ratio of children to adults. Family can be anyone. If you God is leading you, come with us!
How much does it cost?
The cost per person is $1200. That number includes all travel, food, lodging, insurance and ministry. It is all-inclusive. The only thing that would cost you extra would be the cost of a passport and any souvenirs you would like to purchase. We will be raising support together for this experience. God is our provider!
