Opportunities

  • Parking Lot / Traffic – direct traffic flow and assist guests with parking
  • Ushers / Greeters – greet guests, provide programs & assist with seating
  • Guest Services – provide information and connection points for people attending our Sunday Service 
  • Check-In Facilitator – assist families at the child check-in desks
  • Campus Guides – help guests find their way around campus
  • Security – provide safety for all guests, including children (training is provided)
  • Medical Response – respond to on-campus medical emergencies (training and CPR certification provided)

Children


You can be a part of creating the best hour of a kid’s week at Kid City.  Every child matters & you can be the one to impact a life.

Opportunities:
  • Toddler Town [babies - 2 years old] – interact, cuddle, feed, rock to sleep - and yes, change diapers
  • Kid City Zoo [3 years -kindergarten] – prepare the ever-popular snacks (and clean up afterwards!), do simple crafts (ditto cleanup), read, teach, play
  • Uptown [1st - 5th grade] – teach, play, lead small groups, supervise activites
  • Materials – lend your creative talents and energy to coordinate, reproduce & gather materials for classroom use 
  • Creative Arts – providing creative energy for the children’s weekend services through puppets, sound, lights, media and
  • VBX - Great short-term opportunity to impact the life of a child through VBX!
  • Kidz Camp  - Jr. Counselors & Adults Counselors are needed to have fun for a week with our grade school kids!

Students


Are you an adult who understand the pressures and challenges of young people today?  REACT is designed for freshmen through seniors. REACT meets Sunday morning @ 9:30am and Wednesday @ 7pm.

Opportunities for High School & Middle School volunteers:
  • REACT Youth Leader: develop relationships with students in a mentoring capacity, help them grow spiritually, emotionally and just let them know that you care about them.
  • Youth Event Team Membe: help organize and coordinate youth events like retreats and camps 
  • REACT Small Group Home Sponsors: provide your home for a small group to meet for weekly Bible study & fellowship

Arts


Opportunities:
  • Vocal – solos & ensembles
  • Instrumental - wide variety of musical styles during weekend services and special events
  • Drama – performance, directing, costuming, props, staging and scriptwriting
  • Creative Media – produce compelling media and computer animations, create custom music tracks for media content or provide special event photography and videography

Campus Support


Opportunities:

  • Special Projects / Events Team - work with others to plan great events
  • Facility Setup & Teardown – help by setting up or tearing down after events
  • Interior Decorating – work with other talented people to decorate for holidays & special occasions 
  • Roadies Team – work with a fast paced concert team that sets up and tears down

Technical & Skilled


Opportunities:

  • Equipment Operators and Assistants – run lighting, video & sound systems
  • Operate platform cameras and video switchers for services, conferences & workshops
  • Run audio/video systems for children's and off-campus events
  • Technical Support – create PowerPoint text for worship and artist solos, assist in archiving digital data from weekend services, prepare and duplicate DVD content for weekend services and workshops
  • Production Set Support - create custom built sets to complement the sermon series
